2007 Scheduled Projects

Jefferson Utilities has budgeted for the following projects in the Water Department. In conjunction with the City's reconstruction of N. High Avenue we will be replacing 1,500 feet of water main from Clark Street to W. Racine Street. Along with this, 27 lead water services and four hydrants will also be replaced. The water main and hydrants on W. Garland Street are also scheduled for replacement this summer.

The Electric Department has hired Michels Construction to begin replacement and relocation of poles, overhead conductors (cable)and underground conductors (cable) on East and West Racine Streets in preparation for the State's reconstruction of Hwy. 18 scheduled for 2008.
